EWBNZ are working in partnership with a local community group in Ambrym to improve the water supply for three villages in the region. This is Elen, she is 69 years old and a mother of 5. She lives in Rembetewo, one of the villages that will be serviced by EWBNZ's new rain water collection and distribution system. Her current method of collecting and storing rainwater is severely limited. When the other village storage well goes dry, members of her family hike down to the shore at low tide and collect water seeping out of the rocks and sand. Her mobility isn’t so great so she has to rely on others to fetch her water. She has never experienced running water in her life so naturally she is very excited about the pipeline being installed and the positive difference this will have on her life.

With your support and donation, we can have a greater impact. Please consider donating today.

Thank you for your support!
