There are a number of ways that you can contribute to valuable and meaningful work in New Zealand and the South Pacific. Anyone can get involved as a member - and you don't need to be an engineer!
There are opportunities for our members to directly impact the quality of life of people in developing communities through remote technical assistance and work with our Pacific Island partner communities. There are also many opportunities to volunteer from New Zealand by attending events and chapter meetings, volunteering your skills and learning about development and the environment.
Members of EWBNZ have access to all of EWBNZ’s networks, opportunities, and chapter activities. Membership privileges in 2010 include:
- Joining an EWB chapter
- Participating in EWB design challenges and EWB-in-Schools
- Volunteering in EWB’s international and local projects
- Managing or mentoring EWB projects
- Joining EWB's organising committees
- Mentoring students through projects and education initiatives
- Access to EWB’s intranet system - Teamview

Membership fee 2010:
EWB membership - $30/year
Student concession - $10/year
Professionals discounted first year membership - $10
Membership is for one year from the date of sign up in 2010.
