EWBNZ are seeking an Intermediate level Engineer to provide project management for future projects in Vanuatu!

What the role involves: Project management will involve helping, supporting and managing a placement volunteer who will be based in Vanuatu along with coordinating and leading a NZ based support team of professional engineers and students.

Projects are predominantly water supply related but may also involve other disciplines.

This position has been established specifically to manage future small-scale water supply projects in partnership with The Wawan Fonhal Development Council. The projects are currently at the scoping stage and typically would consist of work such as improving and retrofitting existing roofs with guttering and tanks. It would also involve working to enhance the management and technical capacity of the local community to carry out these projects, maintain and operate infrastructure themselves in future.
