Countdown to Copenhagen

Engineers Without Borders New Zealand in partnership with NZ Youth Delegation to Copenhagen bring you "Countdown to Copenhagen" - an expert panel discussion on the risks, challenges, and possible solutions to the issue of climate change through a NZ lens and in relation to our Pacific neighbours.

At this exciting event you will get to hear NZ climate scientist and IPCC 2007 Nobel Peace Prize contributor Jim Salinger discuss climate change with 4 other experts, including current CEO of the NZ Business Council for Sustainable Development and former cabinet minister of revenue, customs and works Peter Neilson. The event will be facilitated by Dr. Carol Boyle, senior lecturer of Environmental Engineering.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to be truly informed on the biggest issue of our time - No hidden agendas, no lobbying, just the facts. You will also get the opportunity to have your input on what you would like the NZ Youth Delegation to take to Copenhagen in December on behalf of NZ youth.

Time: 6:30pm Wed 14 Oct

Venue: Conference Centre Lecture Theatre, University of Auckland
