Become an EWBNZ Member

EWBNZ members are integral to achieving our vision of a world where everyone has access to the engineering knowledge and resources required to lead of life of opportunity, free from poverty.  As a member, you are part of EWBNZ and the humanitarian engineering movement.

By becoming an EWBNZ member you play an essential role in supporting programmes in the communities that we work with in NZ and the South Pacific. This includes our international placements, research projects, EWB-in-Schools programme and our work with universities. Your membership fee goes towards facilitating all the great work that we do and has a direct impact on the communities that we work with.

Membership of EWBNZ also provides access to a range of opportunities for personal development and a chance to support the development of our partner communities.  Additionally, membership opens up opportunities to:

  • Volunteer on local and international projects
  • Undertake a EWBNZ research project
  • Compete in the Odyssey Design Challenge
  • Get involved in the EWB-in-Schools Programme
  • Become a professional mentor for projects and placements or the Odyssey Design Challenge
  • Receive member discounts including a discount to our National Conference

A 12 month membership of EWBNZ is only $15 for students and $50 for professionals.
